Welcome to Wyncroft House Care Centre

Wyncroft House is a close residential community providing a range of quality services to older people who require nursing and dementia care. Situated near Dudley the centre offers single and double bedrooms, with capacity for 36 service users. Set out on two floors, there are three comfortable living rooms, one large dining room, and our very own pub.

When sampling some of our wonderful home cooking, service users have the choice of dining in the comfort of their own room or our communal dining room. Staff will also gladly provide a meal for visitors so that you may dine together if you wish. During the summer months service users often opt to have refreshments on our outdoor patio and enjoy the benefits of our charming private gardens.

Services & Activities

Each of our service users has different hobbies and interests. Our Activities Coordinator works continually with all of them to ensure our programme adequately reflects their needs. With our indoor garden and post office, both created with the help of our service users, there are plenty of in-house attractions. We also have a variety of additional areas of interest set up throughout the centre. It has been discovered that adapting the centre to include these familiar environments can prove extremely effective in helping dementia sufferers to rediscover old skills and behaviour.

Celebrations

Over the festive period in particular we have been lucky enough to enjoy a variety of seasonal treats. Most recently our local Salvation Army Band was spreading the Christmas cheer at Wyncroft. Everyone was thoroughly entertained and joined in with the carols. We also held a Christmas fair at the centre for service users, friends and family.

We also regularly celebrate birthdays and anniversaries together and will gladly make arrangements for your friends and relatives to join in the fun!

Your Home

Our dedicated staff are committed to ensuring that you feel welcome and relaxed from the moment you arrive. You will be allocated a key worker who will concentrate on your individual needs and listen to any concerns you may have. Remember all personnel are devoted to your comfort and safety, 24 hours a day there will always be someone there when you need them.
